Hillary’s Puppet Strings Showing?

The Hillary Clinton campaign announced recently that Jimmy Siegel, the talented New Yorker who produced impressive ads for New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, had joined the former first lady’s presidential campaign.

But now Jimmy may find it difficult to get his phone calls returned.

Why? He committed a Clinton no-no. He took credit for some of Hillary’s specific lines in her announcement speech.

Talking to the New York Times, Siegel patted himself on the back.

According to political reporter Patrick Healy:

“He said he helped come up with one of the more
memorable lines in the video: ‘So let’s talk. Let’s chat.
Let’s start a dialogue about your ideas and mine.
Because the conversation in Washington has been just
a little one-sided lately, don’t you think? And we can all
see how well that works.’”

NOTE TO JIMMY: The Clintons don’t like the puppet strings to show and don’t like the hired help taking credit for their lines. Their view, to paraphrase Lyndon Johnson, is: “They’re all my lines, son.”
