Clinton's Flip-Flop on Iraq

For years Hillary has had one note about Iraq: That we needed more troops. She was quite specific in saying that our troop levels were insufficient to police the borders and stop weapons and guerrillas from coming into Iraq. She was, indeed, prescient in predicting that no sooner would we pacify an area than we would leave and the insurgents would return in force. She said we needed more troops to hold the communities from which we had driven the enemy. Now President Bush is adopting Sen. Clinton's recommendations. But she's no longer on the reservation. In a flip flop, she now condemns the increase in force levels, refering to it as an "escalation." If troop level increases were a good idea before the election, why Sen. Clinton, are they not now?
