AB- why did you say the birther lady should join the 'teabaggers'? The insulting phrase has been used since the protests began. Didn't think you'd go there. Very disapointing.BY mike m on 10/13/2009 at 00:24
He gets rewarded for doing nothing why should that change! If he does anything it will add to the disasters he already has in placer. He is the Worst of the Worst!BY William on 10/13/2009 at 09:59
President Obama should absolutely travel and accept the Peace Prize. In a way he was given the Prize as sort of a 'retianer', with respect that he would carry out the hopeful promises he made during his campaign. It would be a good opportuntiy to engage the world commuinty and bring more substance to his dream and draw more support from the world community. AB you are right in that Republicans should back off on this one. They are hurting the country by dismissing the award. Anyone who suggests this award is only presented after someone has accomplished a positive change doesn't know history and is an ignorant fool, or, is an opportunist twisting the truth. Three Cheers for the U.S.A. and the President of the entire country. His appearance is needed as, in part, an act of diplomacy - we need it with the dollar hanging, the econompy threatened, and two wars… We need all the help we can get for return of stability, and perhaps this move would spark interest in new business returning to American land. There is too much unemployment, and there are too many people hurting to pass up this honor and opportunity.BY JFK-HRC on 10/13/2009 at 14:24
