Government meddling with disastrous results

The Obama administration has a new solution to address very high unemployment in the American black community. It intends to bring lawsuits against companies that refuse to hire individuals with criminal records.

Because a disproportionately high number of this population are black Americans, this policy should improve their employment challenges. However it is just as likely to make it worse, because no one would want to interview someone with a criminal record for fear of being accused of not hiring that person because of his or her criminal background .

This is another example of government meddling . These attempts to control the lives and actions of society are not consistent with the spirit of our Constitution. This administration has seized upon the fact that it can get away with virtually everything. This is because the watchdog media have turned into the lapdog media. They are willing to endorse or ignore egregious actions by their idol, President Obama.
