Why Hillary Clinton would win in an epic landslide against Sarah Palin or Nikki Haley in 2016

By Brent Budowsky - 05/04/12 03:15 PM ET

The moral of the story is that polls show Hillary Clinton would win in an epic landslide against any Republican in 2012, and I believe an even more epic landslide against Sarah Palin or Nikki Haley in 2016, because Clinton has qualifications and experience far out of their league, and because:

Hillary Clinton fights for American workers and American women while Palin and Haley side against them on the great issues.

Hillary Clinton stands for equality and fairness while Palin and Haley represent the interests of elites who profit from unfairness and inequality.

Hillary Clinton stands for a world that is not threatened by climate change and benefits from new clean energy while Palin and Haley stand with Big Oil, big polluters and flat-earth global-warming deniers.

Hillary Clinton stands for equal pay for women in ways that Palin and Haley would not even dare to dream of and in fact vehemently oppose.

Hillary Clinton stands for the strength and resolve that led to the demise of Osama bin Laden while Sarah Palin and Nikki Haley make weak excuses for the weathervane who can't make up his mind about killing bin Laden in Pakistan (or anything else).

Hillary Clinton stands for a government that creates millions of jobs and stood at the epicenter of a Bill Clinton presidency that brought landmark economic success while the former mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, could not finish one mediocre term as governor, and the current governor of South Carolina is less popular in her state than President Obama.

You bet, Hillary Clinton wins a first-round knockout today, tomorrow and forever against Sarah Palin, Nikki Haley and probably any other Republican pretender!
