A polarizing White House

Vice President Biden indicated in a passionate speech yesterday that the American Dream was dying (Obama was elected president) for those not born with a silver spoon in their mouth.

It is difficult to understand how he has arrived at such conclusions. In fact, there are many hardworking Americans who, despite the difficult economic times, are finding ways to be successful and productive.

By stirring up doubt Biden hopes to also create resentment toward those who have achieved success, in an attempt to strengthen the political positions of his party.

During the Great Depression the leaders of our nation attempted to provide hope and encouragement, for they understood that a person with hope and confidence is much more likely to be successful than a person who is discouraged and angry. Let us hope that someone can get this message to Vice President Biden and his cronies.
