News bites: Obama weighing several executive actions

President Obama is considering using executive action on several fronts, The Washington Post reports. Here’s The Hill’s take on the anticipated wave of executive orders and new regulations in the president’s second term.

The North Carolina state Senate approved legislation to fire all members of the state’s regulatory agencies, according to Mother Jones. 

International regulators are looking at ways to protect mortgage insurers, Bloomberg reports.
