News bites: Video-game makers gird for fight against federal rules

The video-game industry is gathering support to fight new regulations in aftermath of the Newtown massacre, The New York Times reports.

A Bloomberg poll found that two-thirds of Americans want to see tougher regulations on fracking.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is on the receiving end of three lawsuits as the watchdog looks to implement rules under Dodd-Frank, according to Financial News.
