News bites: Coal industry wants a say in new climate rules

Lobbyists for coal-burning utilities are seeking to help shape forthcoming proposed federal rules meant to combat the effects on climate change, Bloomberg reports.

Regulators are investigating hoax Twitter account as possible securities fraud, according to The Huffington Post.

The Fish and Wildlife Service is proposing to list the wolverine as threatened under the Endangered Species Act, according to The New York Times.

Former Vice President Al Gore urges President Obama to take executive action on climate change, The Hill reports.
