Leading House Transportation Dem defeats repeat opponent

The ranking Democrat on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Rep. Nick Rahall (D-W.Va.), defeated a West Virginia state lawmaker for the second time, according to The Associated Press.
The victory over West Virginia state delegate Rick Snuffer gives Rahall a 19th term in the House.
