Shuster names new GOP members of House Transportation Committee
Rep. Bill Shuster (R-Pa.) has named 10 new Republican members of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
Shuster said Wednesday that the new GOP members of the Transportation Committee would be Reps. Steve Daines (R-Mont.); Rodney Davis (R-Ill.); Thomas Massie (R-Ky.); Mark Meadows (R-N.C.); Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.); Scott Perry (R-Pa.); Trey Radel (R-Fla.); Tom Rice (R-S.C.); Daniel Webster (R-Fla.); and Roger Williams (R-Texas).
Shuster, who is taking over the Transportation Committee from Rep. John Mica (R-Fla.) next year, said he was looking forward to working with the new members of the panel.
“I am excited to welcome ten new Republican members to serve on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee in the 113th Congress," he said in a statement released by his office.
Shuster was elected chairman of the House Transportation Committee by the chamber's Republican Caucus last month.
