News bites: Back in service

Palestinian Airlines is back in service after a seven-year hiatus caused by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Airlines are increasing the size of their overhead bins to handle larger carry-on bags.

An employee with Washington, D.C.'s Metro was struck by an out-of-service train.

Metro has completed a 2007 National Transportation Safety Board recommendation regarding rail switches.
