News bites: The airport worm turns

Your morning transportation speed-read: Charlotte's Douglass International Airport is employing worms to dispose of waste from airline passengers.

Airlines are blocking the website AwardWallet.com from tracking their passenger's mileage reward programs.

The National Transportation Safety Board has ruled that a freight train derailment in Paulsboro, N.J., last month was not caused by excessive speed.

A freight train was hit by a mudslide in Washington state.
