Your daily transportation quick-fix:

It's raining budget cuts in Seattle, but a Washington state ferry service could be spared.

Several states have put the brakes on commuter rail, but in Massachusetts, new railways are still rolling along.

New York's bus-safety crackdown has resulted in 41 charter buses being pulled off the road.

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood says the next administration trip to Wichita, Kan., will include President Obama himself.
