News bites: Driving fast and fatigued

The National Transportation Safety Board has ruled that a 2011 tour bus crash in New York City was caused by driver fatigue and high speed.

The Transportation Security Administration has confirmed the firing of five of its employees at Fort Myers's Southwest Florida International Airport, and the agency has suspended 38 other workers.

California Gov. Jerry Brown (D) is trying to avoid environmental fights about a controversial proposed high-speed railway in his state.

Boston's Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority will offer passengers free rides to Logan International Airport.
