JWOWW: TSA ‘treated me like a criminal’

Jenni Farley of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” is the latest airline traveler to complain about TSA screening. 

Farley, better known as JWOWW, said she was selected for additional airport screening by the Transportation Security Administration because of her celebrity.

Farley said on her Twitter account this week that she was treated “like a criminal” at Fargo, N.D.’s Hector International Airport.

“Holy sh--!,” she wrote in a tweet that went to her nearly 2 million followers. “Travel 2x a week and never went thru what I did here :(”

Farley said she was selected after passing through airport security after being identified by TSA agents.

“Has anyone got ‘randomly selected’ while walking on the plane and asked to ‘come with them’ to be additionally searched,” she wrote in a subsequent tweet. “I wasn’t randomly selected cuz I saw the tsa there pointing at me while I was getting a coffee 15 min prior.” 

Farley added that she did not mind TSA’s normal airport security procedures, including its controversial pat-down hand searches.

“I’ve been patted down a bunch n don’t mind but after I’m getting on a plane seems odd and deliberate to me,” she said. “Hate when people abuse authority.”

TSA did not respond Tuesday to requests for comment.
