News bites: Altitude adjustment because of attitude

Your morning transportation speed-read: 

A woman says she was detained by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) because of her attitude

A poll of frequent flyers found 76 percent thought TSA was either "not effective" or "not too effective" at airport security.  A poll last month with results that were more friendly to TSA was frequently cited by the agency's supporters. 

A retiring Michigan car dealer gave his employees $1,000 for each year of their service

Donated car materials from General Motors are being used to make coats for homeless people in Detroit.
