Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) attempted to lighten the mood Friday on Twitter with a twist on an old turn of phrase.

Grassley, the six-term senator, is known for his affable presence on Twitter with a following of more than 77,000, much higher than most senators.

One of his most famous tweets came from 2012 when he posted, "Fred and I hit a deer on hiway 136 south of Dyersville. After i pulled fender rubbing on tire we continued to farm. Assume deer dead."

However, Grassley's Friday one-liner is not as original. A quick Google search finds the phrase plastered on T-shirts and various other items.
