Hawaii's newest House member just became the first of his peers to use an iPad while speaking on the floor. Rep. Charles Djou (R) announced the news Wednesday morning on Twitter:

The House Parliamentarian told me that I'm the first Member of Congress to ever use an iPad during a floor speech.

Other members reported to own iPads include Reps. Cliff Stearns (R-Fla.), Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) and Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah).
