Iowa Republican shares advice for backyard pest control

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) brought his 2,500 some-odd Twitter followers along for his yardwork on Sunday.

The four-term congressman — whose feed, with the exception of a spring weight-loss challenge (and victory announcement), is usually newsy — eagerly detailed his strategy for ridding his yard of moles.

"Just gigged another mole," he tweeted Sunday afternoon. "Tools: garden hose & gig. Water runs down hill. Moles can't hold their breath long. Nosce hostem = habeas corpus!"

The Latin clincher translates to "'Know your enemy' = 'you have the body.'"
