Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) seems to be missing out on the attention some senators have received from Lady Gaga.

The Grammy-winning pop icon has waded into the debate over a repeal provision for the military's "Don't ask, don't tell" ban on gays, which will come to the Senate floor Tuesday in a defense authorization bill.

"Hmmm," Polis, who is openly gay, tweeted Monday. "Maybe if I hold out on supporting DADT repeal, Lada Gaga will call me? =D."

Gaga has lobbied several senators — notably Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D) on Twitter — ahead of Tuesday's vote, which some Republicans have threated to filibuster.
