A Glenn Beck-backed news site is the antidote to the "lamestream media," former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) said Friday.

Palin tweeted an endorsement of the new website "The Blaze," a conservative outlet founded by the Fox News host Glenn Beck.

She tweeted:

Log on 2 "theblaze.com" & change the course of information gathering in America! Site helps truth be told;we've had to put up w/LSM too long

Palin has made traditional media — who she calls the "lamestream media" — a frequent whipping boy.

The 2008 vice presidential nominee and potential 2012 Republican presidential candidate is close with Beck, the fervently conservative Fox personality. The pair had appeared together on the National Mall in August for the "Restoring Honor" rally, as well as on the anniversary of 9/11, at a service in Alaska.
