Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) are back in the Middle East this week with a visit to Iraq.
The trio — once dubbed the "three
amigos" by McCain — attended meetings in Baghdad on Monday, according to his Twitter feed.
"@JoeLieberman @Grahamblog & I had good meetings with Iraqi leaders ... at a crucial time," McCain tweeted in the afternoon, linking to a photo (below).
Their current trip comes on the heels of the Halifax International Security Forum, which
McCain and Graham attended over the weekend in Nova Scotia.
The three also traveled together to Israel and Afghanistan during July recess.
