Congressman urges end of war using Holbrooke's last words

A liberal congressman used the late Richard Holbrooke's last words to urge a speedy end to the war in Afghanistan.

Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) took to Twitter Tuesday, saying: "Amb .Richard Holbrooke's last words: 'You've got to stop this war in Afghanistan.'  #afghanistan."

President Obama's special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan died Monday at the age of 69 after experiencing complications from emergency heart surgery to repair a torn aorta. The Washington Post reported on his last words, which he gave to his Pakistani surgeon.
