Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was the first of the possible Republican presidential candidates to take a shot Monday at President Obama's announcement that he'd seek a second term.
Romney didn't exactly welcome Obama to the 2012 campaign, sending a tweet needling the president about his jobs record.
Romney said on Twitter:
@barackobama I look forward to hearing details on your jobs plan, as are 14m unemployed Americans
The former governor and 2008 GOP presidential candidate has been considering another bid in 2012. During that time, he's assiduously focused his messaging on jobs and the economy. Last week, Romney was in Las Vegas to talk about the foreclosure crisis.
