Dem lawmaker jabs Palin for using ranger escort

Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) jabbed former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) for using a park ranger escort during a stop at Liberty Island in New York on her bus tour along the northeast.
"@repblumenauer Natl Park Service strapped yet Palin receives VIP treatment. Are US taxpayers being reimbursed for this? ABC story: http://abcn.ws/m1oOF1," Blumenauer tweeted on Thursday.
Blumenauer's tweet came as Palin and her family continue their bus tour along the northeast this week.
Palin is scheduled to stop in New Hampshire on Thursday evening which will be her first trip back since she was the Republican vice presidential nominee in 2008.
