President Obama probably didn't seek Republican advice on a name for his Midwestern bus tour, which kicked off Monday.

White House Communication Director Dan Pfeiffer called it a "rural economic bus tour," but Republicans offered a few different name ideas.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney called it Obama's "Magical Misery bus tour," while Rep. Ken Calvert (R-Calif.) suggested the “blame the other guy” bus tour.

The Republican National Committee, gearing up to counter the bus tour on the ground at Obama's first stop in Minnesota on Monday, called it the "Obama's Debt-End Tour," with Chairman Reince Priebus pushing the hashtag #DebtEndTour in a series of tweets Monday as he followed the presidential bus through Minnesota.

Obama's first stop is Cannon Falls, Minn., where he plans to hold a town hall on Monday afternoon. The White House said the president will "discuss ways to grow the economy, strengthen the middle class and accelerate hiring."
