Obama campaign offers Twitter T-shirt
President Obama’s reelection campaign is selling a “campaign T-shirt just for Twitter users,” designed with the hashtag #Progress.
Obama’s Twitter feed, which is operated by his campaign, tweeted about the new shirts Friday morning:
If you're reading this, we bet you like both @BarackObama and hashtags—and that you'll like our new Twitter shirt. http://t.co/rILMzMUq
The T-shirt offers a list of Obama first-term accomplishments that includes overturning the "Don’t ask, don’t tell" (#DADT) policy on homosexuals serving openly in the military, and the healthcare reform bill, the Affordable Care Act (#affordablecare).
The minimum donation required to buy the shirt is $25.
The campaign has been pushing Obama election gear all week through the social-media network. Other available items include a 2012 apron, baby onesies and a cat collar.
