Rep. Steve King’s (R-Iowa) Christmas menu included reindeer.
King tweeted a photo on Christmas of his holiday meal in Oslo, Norway. It consisted of lutefisk, lefse and reindeer; King said that he “enjoyed” it.

The conservative lawmaker had been on a trip to the Middle East. Oslo was the last stop on the tour of the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare.
King is well-known for his colorful statements. Earlier this year, he courted controversy when he said that a number of illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children were drug mules.
