Former President Clinton rattled the Twittersphere late Monday when he posted a photo of himself mimicking the famous “Texts from Hillary” meme.

“I’m following my leader!” Clinton tweeted.

Clinton also appeared to have tweaked his Twitter biography, which now says: “Husband, dad, FPOTUS, Bono impersonator, 3-piece suit aficionado, Hoya + Razorback fan, meme appropriator.”

The former president appears to be holding an oversized iPad in the new picture.

A Tumblr blog was started in 2012 promoting the photo of Hilary Clinton, who at the time was serving as secretary of State, and encouraged people to produce memes of it.

The photo was taken in October 2011 inside a military plane on Hillary Clinton’s trip from Malta to Libya.

Hillary Clinton uses that photo as her avatar on her own Twitter account.
