Rick Perry back on the shooting range

Now that he’s out of the GOP presidential race, Texas Gov. Rick Perry is taking the opportunity to get back on the shooting range.

Perry’s trigger finger has been itching at least since before he took the debate stage in Myrtle Beach, S.C., last week.
 
“Running with Griffin during a beautiful day in Myrtle Beach..nothing better except a hunt together!,” he tweeted the day before the Jan. 15 debate.

Shortly after, Perry dropped out of the GOP presidential race and subsequently took a break from Twitter. Now back in Texas, Perry’s tweets took a turn toward the “Rambo.” Friday afternoon, he blasted a series of tweets about guns, including one picture of the Texas governor making use of his right to bear arms.

 

“Take it down/barrel, scope, upper, stock all fit in 5gal bucket. Back together and hit egg @ 100yds!,” he tweeted along with a close-up photo of the gun.
