Michael Moore to Michigan: 'Send the Republicans a message'
Michigan native and documentary filmmaker Michael Moore is ready to "send the Republicans a message" on primary day in Michigan.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the progressive activist urged his followers to do the same.
Good morning fellow Michiganders! It's a great day to send the Republicans a message, and it makes me happy that we're the state to do it.

Moore slammed GOP candidate Rick Santorum's recent comments on higher education in an interview Monday night with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, saying Santorum was trying to get "even fewer votes than Mitt Romney" in Tuesday's Michigan primary.
"I gotta tell you, a lot of my Democratic friends will vote for Santorum in something they are calling Operation Hilarity," he continued. "We do have a good sense of humor in the state of Michigan."
Democratic blog Daily Kos announced "Operation Hilarity" earlier in February, suggesting readers vote for Santorum in order to help drag out the Republican primary and strengthen President Obama's reelection chances.
