RNC targets gas price woes to hurt Obama

The Republican National Committee wants voters to tweet at the pump.
The RNC launched a social media campaign on Tuesday doubling down on their criticism of President Obama over high gas prices.
Today when you are at the station, take a picture of the pump and tweet us the photo- use the hashtag #ObamaonEmpty. Great response so far!

House Republican leaders returned from a weeklong break playing the blame game on gas prices and blaming Obama for failing to deliver a national energy policy.
The RNC promoted the hashtag #ObamaonEmpty all day on Tuesday, likely hoping that voter rage over gas prices will turn into votes against Obama in the upcoming election.
