Obama campaign snags new digital aide from actor Charlie Sheen
If President Obama’s tweets start to sound like Charlie Sheen, blame Josh Burstein.
The actor’s social media intern is jumping from his current position to a job on the Obama campaign.
My Intern has left the building... Congrats on the new gig!RT @jburst please direct all email to JBurstein@BarackObama.com

Burstein is the new deputy director of digital at Obama for America operations in Wisconsin, according to his announcements on Twitter and LinkedIn.
Burstein was chosen last summer out of 82,000 applicants to be Sheen’s social media intern in what was known as the #tigerbloodintern competition. “Tiger blood” is a reference to a well-known Sheen quote, in which he described himself to NBC as having "tiger blood.”
Burstein submitted a video application for the competition in which he touted his role as a new media volunteer for Obama’s presidential campaign in 2008 and starting a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles called MyPi.
