Colorado politicians sideline as Broncos fans to welcome Peyton Manning

Colorado politicians took to Twitter on Monday to show off their Denver Broncos pride and welcome Peyton Manning to the team.

Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) has long been a strong supporter of the Broncos. Last October, he even used his unique position as senator to negotiate a deal with KRQE, the Albuquerque CBS affiliate, to make sure that Broncos fans got to see the team play on Sundays and not be preempted in favor of the Dallas Cowboys. He tweeted that he's looking forward to seeing Manning on the team.

Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.) also celebrated Manning's addition to the team, although there's a chance the price of her season tickets will go up next season.

But it took a non-Coloradoan to wonder about the Bronco's current, much beloved quarterback. With the addition of Manning to the team, the fate of Tim Tebow — popular with fans as well as members of Congress — is uncertain.
