'American Idol' finalist meets Michelle Obama

One of the final three contestants on Fox's popular singing competition "American Idol" met the first lady of the United States this week. 

Joshua Ledet, who came in third this season, tweeted a picture with Michelle Obama backstage on Wednesday. The two both taped appearances Wednesday on ABC's "Live! With Kelly" morning talk show. 

The Hollywood Reporter noted that the Louisianan Ledet, during his televised hometown visit, shortly before his elimination from "Idol," described the welcome he was getting as being treated "like I'm Barack Obama!"
