Actress Amanda Bynes appeals to Obama: 'Fire the cop who arrested me'

Actress Amanda Bynes, best known for the WB show "What I Like About You," wants the world to know she wasn't driving while intoxicated — and she thinks President Obama can help.

Bynes tweeted Obama on Tuesday night, asking him to "fire the cop who arrested me."

Bynes was arrested April 6 in Los Angeles when she reportedly side-swiped a police vehicle and refused an officer's request to submit to a chemical test. She has been charged with a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

Obama has not responded and is unlikely to get involved.
