Warren, Brown wish each other a happy shared anniversary

Elizabeth Warren (D) and Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) are waging an aggressive battle over a Massachusetts Senate seat, but it turns out they think alike when it comes to choosing a wedding date.

Thursday is the marriage anniversary of both Warren and husband Bruce Mann, and Brown and wife Gail Huff. Warren has been married 32 years and Brown 26, according to The Boston Globe.

Warren wished her husband a happy anniversary Thursday but also took time to send a friendly greeting to Brown and his wife. According to Brown's tweet, she also sent flowers.

Scott Brown & Gail are also celebrating their anniversary! I've sent flowers to wish them a happy anniversary & many more years of happiness

Brown sent Warren a gift to acknowledge the occasion, as well. "He sent over an assortment of chocolate from Trappistine Quality Candy, one of his favorite spots in Wrentham [Mass.]," according to his campaign's Press Secretary Alleigh Marré.

Warren and Brown have been tied in polls since early this year. The Hill rates the race a "toss-up."
