Rep. Rangel mourns Knicks's loss of Jeremy Lin
Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) will miss Jeremy Lin.
"RIP Linsanity," he tweeted Wednesday, following news that Lin will no longer play for the New York Knicks and the "Lin-sanity" will be heading south.
The Knicks on Wednesday passed on Lin's contract, despite the heavily publicized success story and winning streak the point guard generated for the team last season. He returns to the Houston Rockets, the team that released him last year, with a three-year, $25 million offer, according to The Associated Press.NYC will miss you @JLin7 #RIPLinsanity. Thank you for your inspiration. Good luck in Houston!
