Obama tweets chair pic in response to Eastwood: 'This seat's taken'
President Obama's campaign on Friday tweeted out a picture of Obama sitting in a chair marked "the president" along with the line: "This seat's taken."
The tweet follows Mitt Romney's official acceptance of the GOP presidential nomination at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night, as well as a unique speech by actor Clint Eastwood. Eastwood, who spoke before Romney's introduction by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), addressed an empty chair on stage throughout his speech, saying "Mr. Obama" was sitting there.

Ann Romney, who appeared on multiple networks Friday morning to discuss the previous night's convention speeches, dismissed questions about Eastwood's speech, which some have called a distraction from the campaign.
"I didn't even know he was going to come on stage," she admitted to ABC's "Good Morning America."
She told NBC's "Today" show she doubted if anyone could plan what Eastwood would do on stage.
"We were just thrilled, frankly I was thrilled, for his support," she said.
