Dem senator wants Leslie Knope to ask Biden about parks bill
Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.) suggested over Twitter that Leslie Knope, one of the main characters of the show "Parks & Recreation," ask Vice President Biden about her legislation on urban parks.
@parksandrecnbc Leslie Knope should ask @vp if he supports my Urban Parks bill. He is Senate pres & could break a tie!#parksandrec

Hagan's tweet came a few hours ahead of Biden's cameo appearance on "Parks and Recreation" Thursday night.
"Meeting Vice President Biden was a thrill for me and for Leslie," Poehler said in a statement, according to The Huffington Post. "He was a good sport and a great improviser. The Vice President maintained his composure while I harassed him and invaded his personal space. The nation of 'Parks and Rec' will be forever grateful."
