Newly elected Democrat reveals she's 'Downton Abbey' fan

There will be at least one “Downton Abbey” fan in Congress next year.

Rep.-elect Dina Titus (D-Nev.) tweeted Monday that she took advantage of post-Thanksgiving sales to order a calendar of the popular British series.

The third season of “Downton Abbey,” which already aired in the U.K., premieres Jan. 6 in the United States on PBS. Titus won’t be the only fan in Washington's political circles; first lady Michelle Obama is also reportedly a fan.

Titus, a former member of the House, was defeated by Republican Rep. Joe Heck in 2010. She returns after winning the seat left open by Rep. Shelley Berkley’s (D-Nev.) Senate bid.
