

Pew: Political use of social media tilted liberal during campaigns

A new infographic compiled by the Pew Research Center on Thursday confirms the growing influence that social networks had over voters during Election 2012.
For now, Pew found, social media users tend to be more liberal than
conservative, at 79 to 63 percent. But a growing number of Americans are
using social medida tools to find information and participate in the political process through Facebook, Twitter and other online and mobile tools.
