

Congressional offices decorate for Christmas, don reindeer antlers
Capitol Hill is getting festive for the holiday season this week, lighting Christmas trees, signing cards and even breaking out some reindeer headgear.
The office of Rep. David Schweikert (R-Ariz.) is getting ready for Christmas season by playing some reindeer games, tweeting a photo on Tuesday of the congressman and staff wearing reindeer ears as they prepare for the holiday season.

Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) tweeted Tuesday that he just put the “final touch” on a 12-foot fir now on display in his Capitol Hill office.

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) will also light the Capitol Christmas Tree on Tuesday night at 5 p.m on the lawn west of the Capitol dome. Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) tweeted that he is particularly excited to participate because the tree, a 65-foot Engelmann spruce, was shipped from Colorado.
