Chelsea Clinton thanks hospital 'for taking great care of my mom'

Chelsea Clinton on Thursday thanked the New York hospital where Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stayed during her recent health scare "for taking great care of my mom."

Clinton and her father, former President Bill Clinton, were present at New York Presbyterian Hospital on Wednesday when the secretary was discharged with a good report after treatment for a blood clot found in her head. The clot, which was not on the brain but could have blocked blood flow, is said to result from the concussion Clinton suffered earlier in December after a fall attributed to dehydration. She was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after a scan discovered the clot. 

Clinton is stepping down from her position at the State Department this month.
