Biden tweets college basketball star

Vice President Biden was on Capitol Hill for the swearing-in of the 113th Congress on Thursday, but he still took time to send a personal tweet congratulating his alma mater’s women's basketball team.

Elena Delle Donne plays basketball for the Fightin' Blue Hens at the University of Delaware, where Biden earned his Bachelor’s degree.

She won a game for the Blue Hens in overtime on Wednesday night, in a dramatic last-seconds victory.

The college junior thanked the vice president for watching the game and supporting the team.
