The Lifetime Movie Network will air the made-for-TV film "Left to Die" on Friday, according to The Florida Times-Union. The movie is a fictionalized version of the true story of Sandra Chase, an American woman jailed on false drug trafficking charges during a vacation trip to Ecuador in 1995. Brown aided in her eventual release in 1997.
Brown is portrayed in the film by actress Charlene Hyatt. It also stars Emmy-winning actress Barbara Hershey as the wrongly imprisoned American and Rachael Leigh Cook as her daughter.
