Rep. David Schweikert (R-Ariz.) has his eye on a caffeinated second career post-Congress.
"I see a career at Starbucks" if the whole Congress thing doesn't work out, Schweikert joked in a video shared Friday on his Twitter account.
Schweikert bought the machine — which he joked is “a bipartisan coffee maker,” available for use by everyone, including the cleaning crew — early in his congressional career.
"I paid for it with my own personal money,” he said, adding, "Think of the benefit to the taxpayers: The staff is well-wired all day long."
Schweikert's office has a selection of syrup flavors for the coffee drinks, ranging from hazelnut to pumpkin spice, but the congressman identified Hershey's chocolate syrup as his "all-time favorite."
