Rep. Braley gets 'back to reality' post-inauguration

Capitol Hill looks a lot different on Tuesday than it did on Monday, Rep. Bruce Braley (D-Iowa) noted in a tweet.

"Where did everyone go?" he tweeted, with a picture of the empty grounds around the Capitol building. The previous day, an estimated million people were gathered on the other side of the building to watch President Obama sworn in for his second term.

And although weather on Inauguration Day — which was actually milder than in 2009 — was the talk of many chilly tweeters, the wind kicked up and the temperature dropped overnight. Tuesday's weather likely feels more like Braley's home state of Iowa, although so far snow is not in the forecast.
