Hillary Clinton joins Twitter

The account describes her as a wife, mom and lawyer, as well as a former U.S. senator, first lady and secretary of State. 

Clinton also defines herself as a "hair icon, pantsuit afficiondo" and "glass ceiling cracker, TBD."

The TBD will only intensify talk that she is thinking of running for president in 2016.

Clinton is following her husband Bill, her daughter Chelsea, the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative.

Her first tweet thanked the creators of a popular Tumblr called Texts from Hillary.

The account was quickly verified as Clinton's on Monday. Former President Clinton welcomed his wife to Twitter shortly after her first tweet.
